Summer and fall traveling soccer programs provide district, regional and MYSA state league playing opportunities for enthusiasts interested in taking their skills into a competitive environment. Traveling soccer has a number of levels of play, varying in intensity from a notch above the recreational programs, to highly competitive and nationally-scoped competition. Placement on Traveling teams is through evaluation by trained and certified coaches, which take place in early August. The programs range from a few hundred dollars in cost and an evening or two a week, up to a serious family finanicial and time commitments with out-of-state travel and paid professional trainers. Centennial SC's coaches and trainers are all trained and many have advanced coaching licenses from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) or similar bodies.

The MYSA summer season officially starts in early May, however, most summer teams start their training in early January.  The summer season ends in mid to late-July.  The MYSA fall season starts in searly September and ends in mid-October.

Centennial SC encourages players of all ages to get invovled in the game.  Throughout the year, Centennial SC sponsors and is looking for more ways to support adults interested in playing opportunites.

During the spring indoor season, Centennial SC sponors "Monday Night Football" (MNF).  MNF is essentially pick-up soccer with adult players who were once players with Centennial Soccer Club, currently have children in the program, serve and Board members or coaches, or who have a passion for the game.  Matches coincide with the spring indoor schedule and are typically held on Monday nights at the Centennial Sports Arena.  All participants are asked to pay a nominal fee to help cover the costs of turf time.

A number of former Centennial SC players, coaches and board members currently play on a recreational team called the Centennial Wiseguys.  While this adult team is not a part of Centennial SC, it is our club's mission to support soccer at all ages, including adults living in our community who enjoy the sport.  For more information on the Centennial Wiseguys, please e-mail David Knoll at dknoll1@comcast.net.

Centennial SC offers recreational playing opportunites for players in the U6 and U8 age groups during the summer months.  Teams play in a small-sided game format in the U6 and U8 program, which is recognized by the USSF and most other national and international soccer governing bodies as the correct format for developing soccer players.
